Luis F. Valdes, Ph.D.

Dr. Valdes has more than two decades working with a wide range of businesses including small to medium businesses as well as Fortune 500 companies. He has worked in the energy sector, the governmental sector, within technology, telecommunications, retail, heavy and light manufacturing, financial institutions, real estate, higher education, professional services and pest control.

He has extensive experience with executive and managerial assessments, executive coaching, team development, talent retention, leadership development and succession planning issues.  His consulting firm, Performance Vertical Consulting, was established to provide the best in performance and talent management services to businesses that want sustainable growth and wish to achieve competitive excellence.

He is a much sought-after speaker and trainer.  His topics include but are not limited to sports and performance psychology, executive leadership, management, organizational issues, and ethical issues. 

Prior to starting his own business, Dr. Valdes was employed by TalentQuest, the Turknett Leadership Group, and RHR International, all premier consulting firms with offices in the Atlanta area.

Dr. Valdes is a licensed psychologist in the state of Georgia. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, Georgia Psychological Association, and the Technology Association of Georgia. He has served on the board of Earth Share of Georgia, Cliff Valley School and the board of advisors of Sci-Trek. He previously served as the President of the Texas College Personnel Association. 

Performance Vertical Consulting, LLC is a cornerstone member of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, on which he serves as a Board member.  

Kim Krinsky, Ph.D.

Dr. Krinsky received her Ph.D. from Emory University in Clinical Psychology. She earned an M.S. in Criminal Justice at the University of North Georgia.  She has a B.A. in Psychology (with Distinction) from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.  She is a licensed psychologist in the state of Georgia, and began her independent psychotherapy practice over 20 years ago.  She is also currently a tenured faculty member in the Department of Social Sciences at Georgia Perimeter College.  She also serves as an adjunct faculty member at Emory University.  She is a much sought-after clinical supervisor of graduate students in their Department of Clinical Psychology.  Previously, she was the Director of the Counseling Center at Oxford College of Emory University in nearby Oxford, Georgia.  She is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Georgia Psychological Association, and serves on the Ethics Committee for the latter.

Dr. Krinsky's professional interests include interpersonal psychotherapy, women's mental health issues, eating disorders and psychological issues related to chronic medical conditions.  In addition to providing individual psychotherapy, she performs psychological assessments for patients in preparation for bariatric surgery.  In addition, she has developed a practice in forensic psychology.   Finally, she has conducted research on the portrayal of psychotherapy in film and the media.
